Message For many reasons......
In order to be competitive with large Co's that mass produce exhaust systems my profit margin on these is too small to share it with other venders. I worked hard to get these systems to where they are and I am lucky to make 10% when all is said and done.
Also when you as a vender order an exhaust from a large co it comes boxed up ready to go.
We custom make our systems to meet someones needs and taste and them I have to box it up and that takes time I can't charge for also.
The bottom line is the systems are made by hand and require a lot of time to make because I am so anal about the way they are done......No one else in the industry takes the time to weld the pipes on the inside and grind them smooth. This takes much more time to do and uses much more in materials. We also build the systems on a car to make sure they fit perfect and that requires more time then making them in a jig. But it is importent to me that they are made as good as possible.
I would like to sell them cheaper then I already do, But I also need to make a living. If I sell them to venders I would need to raise the prices.
